Le Village de Montirius 2021 is a delightful Vacqueyras red crafted from a selection of the estate's youngest Grenache and Syrah vines, aged between 10 and 35 years. This cuvée, named for its vines that overlook the beautiful Provencal village of Vacqueyras, offers luscious aromas of strawberry and smoky notes. The wine, grown on garrigue soil and blue clay marl subsoil in a Mediterranean climate, is managed organically and biodynamically. After manual harvesting, it is aged in vats for 6 to 12 months, resulting in a non-oaked, easy-to-drink red with silky, well-blended tannins. The crisp, intense palate pairs perfectly with barbecued red meats or a hearty Provençal stew, making it a versatile choice for both warm and cooler seasons.
